Ingredients
Method
- Heat a medium sized saucepan.
- Add 1.5 cups water on medium heat.
- Add 1 cup whole milk.
- Add 3-4 slightly opened cardamom pods.
- Add 1/2 inch cinnamon stick, 2-3 cloves and bring to boil on high heat.
- Add 2.5 tablespoons loose tea leaves. Set heat to low for 2-3 minutes.
- Using a ladle or a metal measuring cup, ladle chai back and forth into the saucepan to create foam.
- Bring chai to boil again on high heat.
- Strain chai through a small sieve into mugs. Enjoy!
